Step-by-step guide to an Epic USA Summer Camp Adventure

Kick things off by starting your application here – it’s totally free to begin!  All you need is your email and a few basic details to get rolling.

We’ll give you a call for a relaxed, friendly chat. No need to stress – it’s not an interview! We just want to get to know you better, hear about your skills and hobbies, and find out why you’re excited about camp.

Whenever you’re ready, you can secure your spot by paying the £349 fee (without flights) or £599 (including return flights). Prefer to spread the cost? You can start with a £49 deposit and pay in instalments.

Think of this as your summer camp CV – a chance to show off your skills and why you’d make a great addition to any camp. We’ve got a handy blog guide to help you ace it!

You’ll also make a short video so camps can see why you’re the perfect fit. 

Once your profile is ready, we’ll match you with camps from across the USA – from traditional camps to Scout and non-profit camps, there’s something for everyone. Camps might want to have a chat with you for an interview, or you can visit one of our Summer Camp Job Fairs which are a great opportunity to meet camp leaders face-to-face – where you could even get hired on the spot!

And don’t worry if it takes a little time to find the right camp; that’s totally normal.

To get you to camp, you’ll need to sort out your references, police check, and medical form. Then, book your US Embassy appointment for your visa. It might sound tricky, but we’ll guide you through it all step-by-step.

If you chose the flights-included option, we’ll arrange those for you once your visa’s sorted. If not, once you have your visa, it’s time to book your flights.

Before you head off, we’ll host an online pre-orientation meeting where you’ll get to know our team and learn everything you need to know for your camp experience.

We’ll cover the essentials like your visa, insurance, emergency contacts, and what to expect at camp.

With your flights booked, it’s time to pack! Whether you’re a rucksack or suitcase kind of person, we’ve got a blog with packing tips and your camp will send you a list of essentials – don’t forget your crocs!
